Testimonials

I commend you on hosting such a fabulous show. I heard about it from a friend last year and I knew I had to attend this year. Your dynamic and message is very inspiring. My little girl is already bugging me to be a little Miss as well. Your host!!!! He is a spectacular speaker and wonderful personality as well. I wish I had the opportunity of speaking to him as he seems very humble as well. His personality is an eye catcher – as well as his looks! He had me rolling with laughter, he is very good at his craft and made the show enjoyable. Glad to see you are displaying the young generation in such a positive light. I’d also like to say the cover girl of your magazine is absolutely beautiful, both inside and out. I got the pleasure of speaking to her and she had such great things to say about you and your vision. She was so pleasant and humble, qualities that u rarely come by these days, especially from young women. I am glad you are displaying such intelligent women in a positive light. Congrats on your success.

The whole show went smooth, no delays, no glitches and even if ther were no one including me would have been able to tell. And the host was excellent!!!! He kept the crowd going and entertained. OMG, the backdrop looked amazing from the audience. My dad and sister were there and they enjoyed the show. They told me to tell you this West Indian show is the first West Indian show they ever attended that had class and was very professionally done. They said it didn’t look like a typical rum shop event lol.  Even the filler acts were good!!! Thank you for showcasing the West Indian girls and thank you for the opportunity to work with you.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to be apart of this glamorous show. Beauty, style and class are what our business is all about and this show really embodied that. The top models were truly graceful (not to mention flawless) and the contestants looked like they were having an amazing time (I could see their beautiful smiles from across the room). The vendors looked amazing and I think we made some lasting connections

Good Morning Julie,

I wanted to take the time to express my heartfelt congratulations to you and the entire WI Canadian team for an outstanding job on the WI Canadian Pageant and Expo that took place last weekend.

I was fortunate enough to be able to view the event both as a sponsor and business woman and also as a mother of one of the Little Miss Pageant contestants. I can say from both accounts it was a job well done.

From initial contact to pageant day you were nothing but professional, courteous and the epitome of class. Whether you were dealing with the children or the adults you remained poised and in control which is a task that not many can manage in this day and time.

There was not a moment where I was worried, left out of the loop or felt stressed throughout the whole pageant experience. You made sure that you were available to answer any questions (often times before I even thought to ask them) and maintained an open line of communication.

I look forward to working more with you in the future and highly recommend others in the West Indian community to do the same.

You truly deserve to be recognized for the positive impact that you are making on our West Indian community and the unity that you are creating. I hope to see more diverse involvement in the future and look forward to watching and helping WI Canadian grow to the potential that it so clearly is capable of.

Once again, congratulations on a phenomenal job and thank you for everything.

Kind regards,

It was such a pleasure being part of “It’s a Girl Thing” fundraiser event. The evening showcased some awesome female entrepreneurs including the founder of Wi Canadian, Miss Julie Rambali. As a business owner myself I know the road to success can be hard & tiresome, but still we give it our all and maybe show a lil titty! lol Ain’t nothing sexier than an independant woman doing her thang!!! I had a fun time hosting and got a chance to meet some great people, I’m looking forward to hosting their event in the fall, and watching the outrageous performance of a female-comedy duo “Hardeepa and Melva” and their 2012 Miss West Indian Canadian Pageant.

Sooo… I went to a career workshop the other day and I thought about you… The quote “today, a career is a life expression of how a person wants to be in this world” made me think about you and all the efforts that you make to promote the west Indian culture. Your ability to utilize your skills to create a vision that no other has before… Your not just a dreamer, but you strive to make those dreams come true! I wish you all the best in your future endeavors Julie and I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge all that you do..

I wanted to convey a big thank you for promoting our culture, and providing opportunities to businesses to showcase their creativity/services at such an exquisite event. Further, creating a platform for young, beautiful, and intelligent women of West Indian heritage. Continue to do what you’re doing as it is leaving a magnificent impact on the younger generation. Congrats on an awesome job!

Hello Julie, Gooooood Afternoon on this crisp Friday!!! I hope this end of week has brought many smiles to your face and strenghts to cherish for upcoming pageants.

Congratulations for a superb job well done!!! My family and I enjoyed the show very much, laughter, smiles, food, meeting some of the vendors with displays & best of all the Pageant. It was quite a thrill for me, as I am always very excited for these types of events. Its’s a lot of hard work, flexibility, determination and discipline.

I was hoarse for days from the screams from me and my family. The audience were totally wrapped around the contestants, and it was hair raising towards the end.

All the contestants did extremely superb, their talents shone in many ways. They all deserve to be rewarded.

I met with a few of the girls outside and congratulated them for jobs well done. Thank you for organizing this pageant, and giving Shauna the opportunity of “spreading her wings”. Shauna is a very bubbly, passionate, caring young lady who deserves to embrace and reach out to her community & society. Shauna’s all younger cousins (The girls) have already start preparing for the next 8-10 years, LOL!! “Dreams do come true.” Thank you again for the opportunity of selecting Shauna to be 1 of the top 10 contestants.

Have a great weekend, and we would be looking forward to next year.

By the grace of your determination, you’re only getting bigger, better, and stronger from here on in! You’re amazing! Thank you for giving me such a great opportunity and creating a memory I’ll carry with me for a life time! Thank Amy for me too!! I’ll forever be ‘skinnin my teet’ for her! Thank you both again!!!

Unfortunately, I couldn’t take any shots of the pageant. I had a lot of people coming to my booth and I didn’t want to leave. I didn’t expect to meet a lot of familiar faces. I was also busy gathering all the contacts that I acquired. Never expected to be that busy.

Just wanted to congratulate you on a job well done!! I thought was a very well planned and smoothly executed.

I did not know who you were before the introduced you on the stage but I somehow knew the individual whom I saw walking around as if she was dancing on a cloud had to be you!!!. I am pretty sure you are happy with how everything went. For only your second event it was fantastic. My dad (who is 85 years old) remarked to me as we were leaving that, “Man I think de show worth at least 20 dalla per person”. He said he actually enjoyed it more that the IFFA awards show earlier this year.

Good luck in the future. I would love to be involved in future sponsorship.

Hey Julie! How are you? I hope all is well. I just wanted to take some time to thank you for the amazing experience I had participating in the Miss West Indian Canadian Pageant 2010. After being given such an opportunity, I realized that this pageant is much more than just winning a title, it’s about gaining self confidence, taking pride in your West Indian heritage and meeting fabulous people along the way (yourself being one of the most influential women I met). Personally however, it enhanced my stage presence and made me a better performer.

To end off this note, I wish you continuous success in your future endeavours and please continue to be a positive role model for the young West Indian girls who want to get involved in their community. The amount of effort you have put in such events is much appreciated and there’s no where left but up. I hope our paths cross again and it would be great to work with you in the future. Take care and keep on shining 🙂
